Who is responsible

What we collect and why

When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email, subject and message, to reply to you. When you book a conversation, the booking service collects your name, email and any information you choose to add, to arrange the meeting. If you subscribe to Insights, we collect your email (and name, if given) to send you new articles. The website also uses cookies, as described in the cookie banner.

Legal basis

Replying to your enquiry and arranging meetings are steps taken at your request before any engagement, or our legitimate interest in responding to you. Sending articles is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the link in each email.

Who processes the data

The website is hosted by Wix and bookings are managed through Calendly. These providers process data on our behalf and may store it outside the European Union, under the safeguards required by the GDPR. We do not sell your data or share it for marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and booking details are kept for as long as needed to follow up and for up to two years after the last contact, unless an engagement follows. Subscription data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format, by writing to jvc@bright-talents.com. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD, www.cnpd.pt).

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
